Found a public collection you love? Clone it into your own Recallio account in one click, no manual copying or re-saving bookmarks required.

Someone shares a great reading list with you, and you want to keep your own copy of it. Until now, that meant opening every link one by one and saving each bookmark yourself. Recallio can now clone bookmark collections for you, so the whole list lands in your account in a single click.

What cloning a collection does

Any public Recallio collection has a share page, reachable at a link like recallio.co.uk/c/[shareId]. Visitors to that page can browse the bookmarks freely, and now they'll also see a Save a copy button. Clicking it copies the entire collection, name, color, and every bookmark inside, straight into their own account.

How it works

If you're already signed in to Recallio, clicking Save a copy clones the collection immediately and takes you straight to it. If you're not signed in yet, the button walks you through creating an account (or logging in) first, then finishes the clone automatically right after, no extra steps to repeat. This works whether you sign up with email and password or with your Google account.

Why it matters

Discovering someone else's curated collection, a reading list, a set of research links, a roundup of tools, is only half the value. The other half is being able to keep it and build on it. Cloning removes the tedious part: no more re-saving links one at a time, no missed bookmarks, no starting from scratch.

Want to be on the giving end too? Open any collection you own, click Share, and turn on public sharing to generate a link. Anyone with that link can browse your collection, and now, save their own copy of it.
